2007 Leather upholstery removal

Postby BAMAGRAD1995 » Thu Nov 27, 2014 1:01 pm

How hard is it to remove R51 2007 Nissan Pathfinder LE front seats leather upholstery? Does anyone know if the seat heaters are moulded into the seat foam or are they separate pieces? Thanks.

I haven't done the R51 seat upholstery, but on earlier Nissans, the heating element had adhesive strips on it and it would be applied to the foam. Be careful on the passenger front seat, because you have the occupational seat sensor bladder on top of the bottom seat foam. Otherwise, it shouldn't be any different than any other seat upholstery held in with hog ties. Leather is a little tougher than cloth because you need to stretch it correctly to make it fit right.
