rattle during acceleration

Postby country55987 » Fri Sep 25, 2015 10:42 am

I have a 2013 Pathfinder that has a rattle somewhere on the passenger side during acceleration. I looked over the entire undercarriage and found nothing loose. I am wondering if it is coming from the door?

Seat belt buckles against the door or back walls are the only rattles that normally come from my '06 Pathfinder.

It also rattles when both seatbelts(front and rear on passenger side are being used.

The pathfinders are notorious for having a ridiculous heat shield where the brackets rattle. I would start there or have a tech check it out. Mine will do it at certain RPMs

I now have a rattle in the passenger door, fairly positive the speaker is loose.

on my 05 OFF ROAD it was the oilfilter access on the skid plate, happened again and found that the clamps on heat shield broke. put new ones on and haven't had an issue since. maybe check that. I know its a fairly new vehicle but its an easy thing to check.
