Help child lock on

Hi and help please

I have a pathfinder from 2006 .

My problem is that I accidentally put the child lock on and the back door won't open from outside...or inside ...I don't know what to do I Google it...YouTube..but nothing..it's unbelievable
Please any help or advice would be very grateful.

The only thing I can think of is to use a lock-out tool (see picture link below) to try and get the latch to release. Once the door is open, you'll need to remove the interior pane to see what is causing the problem. I know European models have a lot of issues with rear, exterior door handles breaking, but this sounds more like a latch issue.

It's unbelievable how can they do this..
Nissan it's out of order..so you get the child lock on and you can't get it off??
It's like you lock the door to your house and can't open again?? I'm shocked.. not to say my door handle is broken on the outside..on the other door...but thanks..

Yeah, that outside-rear door handle is a European issue; we don't have any problems with them in the USA. Instead, we get timing chain and radiator cooler failures! I think I'd rather have the door handle issues!

Yea thanks...I guess we better off...going to make a hole on that door then...Nissan is a joke.
