Need skid plates. Got part #'s, or them available?

Postby Spamcan » Wed Sep 22, 2010 7:46 pm

I've been scouring Courtesy and Fontana Nissan(s) and this site and for the life of me I cannot find the skid plates (#'s or items) for the R51. Anyone know them? Or have a link for them?

I just wanna add some extra protection underneath...Thanks!

did you want skid plates, or the OEM protectors like the Off Road model has?

Probably just the OEM protectors like the Off Road. I don't do any major off-roading. I just want extra protection at a reasonable cost. So that's what they're considered..."protectors"?

Shrock sells skid plates for about $150 shipped, and they are heavy duty. They are designed for the Frontier, but customer service confirmed to me that they will fit the Pathfinder.

I'd really like to get Shrockworks, but each piece is a lot ($$$) for me right now. I can get the full set of skids from Nissan for @ $200 TOTAL. Each piece from Shrockworks is from $130-220 EACH. Yea, I'm sure they're better protection, but for what kind of off-roading I will do I feel OK with OEM vs nothing.
