Help with stock wheel specs

Postby MarkSheriff » Tue Jun 14, 2016 2:55 am

When i look up online (google search) i find that my stock wheel spec is
16x7 18 offset but today when i took off my wheel i see 16x7 30 stamped on it, see the pic below. Im trying to look for wheels but need my correct offset so i can calculate what offset i want to get on the new wheels because i want it to poke past the fender, any recommendations on what that offset should be compared to my stock wheel? I want about 3-4" poke from the fender.

What year is your vehicle? Some later model (07+) R51’s came w/ 16x7 +30.

To get that much poke, you’re going to need a decent lift and of course fender/splash guard trimmage. I don’t even think mine poke that much and I’ve got 325 65 on 9” wide wheels with a -12 offset.

Here’s comparing my OEM 18’s to my current 18’s via http://www.tire-size-calculator.info/
Outset difference per side
+2.65 inch

Inset difference per side
-0.65 inch
And when I had 295’s with a 19mm spacer:
Outset difference per side
+3.4 inch

Inset difference per side
-1.4 inch
Also keep in mind this measurement is just the wheel from what I understand. So with the tire included, it might be closer to 3-4".

Here are some reference pics: 295's2/spacer(19mm):

My year is 2006, and i love your setup! Thats my goal with the offset and everything, 3-4" poke was just an estimate. The -12 offset looks real good but if my offset 30 going to -12 the poke will be different than coming from 18( this is the offset i see online for my car for some reason) to -12 offset

I'd say with that stamping on the wheel, they year of your Pathy and the OEM specs relative to that year of Pathfinder, yes, you've got +30.
