R51 issue SLIP flashing need to switch VDC OFF

Postby luc_chivas » Thu Jan 10, 2013 1:48 am

Hello ,
My Path : R51-2006-Automatic, 2.5 .
for 8 monthes, I have the following default. When driving, after some few meters, the Slip light start flashing, the engine goes in safe mode (with no power), I need to slow down, switch the VDC OFF, after that the engine remains correct but........ when I switch to 4WD, or Automatic, when I turn, it seems something crunshing in the front wheel.
I goes to Nissan 4/5 times, no defect in register in the ECU, I've change the G Sensor, the SteeringWheel Sensor, check the ABS sensor.. but nothing new... did you already hearded about this defect. My Nissan want to invit "THE" technical expert from Nissan, but right now; he seems to busy........ :))

Flashing "slip lihght" shows that vdc (esp on european models) is doing its job. It works exactly as you described.

Are you having this issue on ice?
