6 x 4.5" compatible OEM wheels

Postby Gray » Thu Oct 09, 2008 11:28 am

Here's a list of a few vehicles which use the same 6 x 4.5 bolt pattern wheels as the PF, not sure of the offset or center hub size of some;

* Dodge Durango (1998 - 2003) Hub bore: 71.4mm
* Dodge Dakota (1991 - 2004) Hub bore: 71.4mm
* Dodge Viper (1992-2009)
* Nissan Frontier (2005 - 2009) OEM offset: +30mm / Hub bore: 66.1mm
* Nissan Xterra (2005 - 2009) OEM offset: +30mm / Hub bore: 66.1mm
* Suzuki Equator (2009) OEM offset: +30mm / Hub bore: 66.1mm
* Hyundai Entourage (2007 - 2009)
* Kia Sedona (2006 - 2009)
* Kia Borrego (2009)

Cadillac SRX as well as alot of the GM / Cadillac stuff is 6x115 .vs. the Pathfinders 6x114.3... its close , but not right !!

Same as the Viper 6x115 ...

I looked into running a set of Cadillac CTS-V wheels on the Path .... they were close , but not worth the risk ....

As far as the Kia and Hyundai wheels go , from what I see they are all
6x5.5 ...

Still struggling to find a set of decent wheels... my tires are here, but no wheels... Wish this thing would have been 6x5.5 like everything else...

Neat thing about the Hyundai Entourage is that it comes with a cool looking 7 spoke 17" x 6.5" aluminum wheel which might be tough enough for offroad use; :lol:

Wouldn't it be better to comprise a list of wheels that have been tested on the pathfinder/Fronty/X/equator? There are quite a few other aspects to wheel compatibility aside from lug spacing. I've heard horror stories from Frontier and Xterra owners about buying wheels with the proper caliper clearence and issues with high speed stability.

Kia rims on a Nissan :shock:

While TireRack does have a small selection of wheels if you're looking to go bigger, but not if you're looking to go wider in the standard 16" diameter.

While 18" wheels look sharp, that's not the direction you want to go if you're off-roading. You want more rubber between the wheel and the trail so you can air-down for a bigger footprint and more grip without worrying so much about blowing-out a sidewall. There's also not as good a selection of off-road or mixed purpose tires above 16", at least that I found.
