Has anyone tried this with an 08 5.6L? If so, what are your thoughts/experiences?

Things must be different in the 49th state. In New Jersey, stealerships would charge you full PAR rate for the adjustment, even if it was done in conjunction with other under-hood services. Every procedure gets charged its full, separate rate. That is why service techs in NJ are able to bill, on average, 3x the number of hours they actually work. This is more than empirical knowledge; I have family in the business (but, unfortunately, not with a Nissan franchise).Greybrick wrote:The local dealership will do a 2° timing advance or retard for free as it only takes a few minutes to get it done.
