I'll try and post some better daytime shots, so far - I'm not sure whether I like it better with or without :?
The crossbars seem to be a signature for the pathfinder so I may well put them back on.
Does anyone have Grays old pics ?
What did he do with the holes in the top - I still haven't found any fillers for the holes - not sure about filling with silicone incase its hard to put the rails back on.

Pop out the caps off on the front and end and then remove 3 screws on each end and 2 in the middle one.

Here are some photos of my naked roof:

Removing the factory rails is pretty easy if you don't care about scratching them up a bit.

1 - use a flathead screwdriver to pry the plastic housing off the front and rear mounting points.

2 - remove the three bolts from each end of the rails.

3 - slide the rail forward to release it from the center support.

4 - remove the two center support bolts.

5 - Silicone the open bolt holes (I used Thule bolts from a TK1 kit to fill the holes in the roof. The threads matched perfectly. Part F - http://www.thuleracks.com/product_spare ... 53&sku=TK1)

I removed the rails to make room for a Wilderness Track Rack. I should have it on next week. More to follow.
