ProComp wheels

Postby yarilo » Wed Apr 22, 2009 12:29 pm

Guys, hello!

Anybody know - how to fit ProComp wheels on our Paths?? They have offset -12mm, I tried to install and figured out that disc stick out even w/o tires. Any ideas?

P.S. Why I'm asking - because a lot of Frontiers with ProComp installed but I suspect there is a huge lift always done.

I have Pro Comp 6089 wheels. But I have the OME suspension lift.

The wheels are 17x8 (inches), 6x4.5 bolt pattern, with a 4" (or 101.6mm) back spacing....

I am not sure what you mean about offset...They wheels should fit, but you will need to consider tire size if not using a lift. My tires are 265/70/17.

Hope this helps.

-12 Offset will hang out a bunch !! Stock offset is +30 ... so basicaly -12 will stick out about 42mm more than stock depending on wheel width ...

They would probably be ok with a lift or if you dont mind them hanging out ... but if you want it right , you need the correct offset for your application ...!

And yea, that 17x8 4" backspace is about -12 offset ...

Thanks, it's clear but I'm trying to find out - how to solve this problem and to cover wheels. Probably I will use fender flare kit, but it's not so good-looking :-(

This is OK when you ride in sands or in rocky area, but guys if you going to dirt place and you installed M/T - you will find that your car is completely covered by mud after some time :-)
