well for me on a hot day 87 seems to bog her down 91 makes it feel more responsive and it will wind out to red line.

When I go camping or towing I all ways like to us mid grade (89) to help with pinging.

I was waiting for an email letting me know people had replied (I'm sure there's a setting here somewhere, but I apparently don't have it turned on).

Thanks for all the replies. It sounds like I'll keep doing what I'm doing. I used 87 octane except when I towed a UHaul...then 91.

Glad to see this forum is so active!

You'll notice a BIG difference if you use 91 octane with the Superchips Cortex 91 performance tune! :D

Ran 91 for 2 weeks now and Wow I gained almost 1 mpg and there is a power increase as well. (That I noticed)
