bolt pattern conversion to 6 x 139

Postby ByPath » Thu Feb 04, 2010 9:19 am

our 6 x114.3 bolt pattern is very odd and limiting.....anyone try a hub bearing conversion from the older r50 pathfinders or even recent model frontiers ?

thanks

I show no difference in 4WD Frontiers through 2010 models.

I am interested in this though, as the wheels i like aren't available in our size.

The pathy, frontier and xterras are the same bolt pattern. The armada and titian have the bigger bolt pattern your looking for. Same as GM truck 6 lug and even the same hub bore from what i've read.

the older hubs are totally different. They have the 4wd hub that bolts on to a carrier that the bearing races sit in and the rotor and wheel bolt to. R51's are knock off rotors on a "bare" hub.

that will work but it adds 30mm of negative offset in addition to the offset you will have with the wheels that is put on the car.

I need a hub conversion, hopefully there is a direct swap that may work.

I don't want to say - this is impossible but better try to apply your efforts on something else (in your Pathy, I mean) because I'm looking in a few confs constantly for a few years and didn't heard anything about this, and of course I'm not talking about possible problems you will face in case of such replacement, really.

Negative offset - that's funny, people on Frontier are crying to to have wider base, so +2'' fender flares, 15'' rims and 33'' tires and you will be a king of the road :D
