Installing bose hu into non bose

Hello everyone, needing some help. I have a 2007 Pathfinder with no bose and was wondering has anyone here attempted to install a bose headunit into a Pathfinder with success? Trying to keep the stock look with the added features. I know bose is crap, but its not really a big concern of mines and I'm looking more for answers pertaining to the swap. Thanks to anyone here who can help.
