I believe if the plastic boards are prepped correctly, than it should hold up fine, also the splash guards will help alot also. Auto body shop painted so I am sure it was done right.

I like those wheels. Did you get them online, or some place local?

I like the look. Not as eay to recongnize on a black one, but still a nice tough. I've considered that plus the mudguards on mine (red).

I have painted this type of material before. My wife's Ody is Silver and it looks terrible with the black mud guards. I had them painted to match and if you use a good flex agent and prep the plastic the paint will adhere pretty good. The only problem is that just like any plastic if it bends too much the pain will crack. Her's have held up great other than when she drug one across a curb and it must have bent it. The paint has some cracks now but otherwise no problems.

very nice! good to see some r51 mods! gives it a more luxury upgraded look.

I have a white S base model and thinking bout doing the side mirror covers and running boards like yours.

I love the black on black! That's why I initially wanted a black one but decided against it...

I purchased the wheels from 4wheelparts.com they had a sale so I pretty much got 4 for the price of 3. :D
