jacking a pathfinder

Postby bbermann » Tue Mar 09, 2010 4:42 pm

I just picked up my first trolley lift and a pair of jack stands.

Question: where do I put the lift/jack to raise the Pathfinder and once up, where do I put the stands? I need to know for both the front and rear.

Thanks in advance.

I am not being a smart ass, but do you have the owners manual? it tells in there.

Kevster-

Thanks for the answer (seriously) I just need to know how to do it and I'll dust off the manual.

Others may vary but I jack mine up under the lower control arms whether in the front or rear, and I place my jacks on the flat part of the frame.

OK, so I looked in the manual and what I saw was simply the recommended jacking points which I have used in the past with the included jack.

I kinda knew this already. The help I am looking for is are there other places or tricks others like xd9-g19 posted.

 gee, thanks guys!
but i thought the thread had more to do with safe alternatives for raising & supporting the vehicle, than dealing with a flat on the side of the road :?
