Replacing center console trim

Postby rteeples » Fri Jun 04, 2010 9:26 pm

I have an 06 LE with the ugly faux-wood center trim. I'm thinking about replacing it to match the color of the dash. From what I can tell, it's just two parts (96960 & 96940). Does anyone know how hard it is to remove and replace?

Its very simple. Pull the cup holder trim straight up first to remove. Then grab the one that goes around the shifter and pull back then up. You may need to move the shifter into gear. Takes about 30 secs

What are your plans for your wood trim center after you get this one? Or pehaps we can trade?
