Heated Mirrors

Hi
Just want to know if there were others who have done a retro fit of heated outside mirrors. Also if the pathy comes prewired for this. I have an SE with power BUT not heated outside mirrors. Would like to do this before the winter. Or should I just pry the mirror off and see for myself?
