Suspension

Postby NYPathfinder » Mon Sep 06, 2010 1:04 pm

I have an 07 LE. Is there any difference between the suspension in my LE as opposed to an SE? Like is the LE's suspension mushier/softer then the SE? Or are they all the same.

I am sure that all are the same, except that the OFF ROAD Pathy has a much different spring rate and Bilstein shocks.

With the 2007 model year, all model variants shared the same part number for springs. The only thing different was the Rancho shocks.

Bilstein. I can't remember the specific year that they switched from Rancho OEM to Bilstein OEM, but I want to say it has been at least 2 years now.

I have an LE Frontier, the shocks are the same as SE, but the Nismo (Offroad) got the yellow Bilsteins but I think the springs are the same. I think its probably the same in the Pathys

looking back through my Pathfinder dealer brochures, i find that they went from Rancho to Bilstein shocks for the Off-Road model in 2008.
i did not know that before.
but regarding the springs, aren't they all the same for all the models for all the years? :?

I definite agree with them. The suspension are just the same. I haven't seen that Rancho shocks but I think it wouldn't make much difference.
