24's

Postby Ramnm08 » Mon Sep 06, 2010 5:53 pm

Every website I look at says 22's will fir with a 285/40-22. I have a friend that is going to give me his 24's with 305/35's. Will these fit or will I have to get a smaller tire.

One would think there would be more information on a Nissan Pathfinder forum than this. Sucks when you have to go to a Frontier forum to figure something out.

There is lots of info on this forum, but not much in the "bling" department i guess.

There are some things you should notice and concider...

Thenissanpath.com is about the only Pathfinder exclusive forum, which currently has about 2500 members. Frontiers on the other hand, have several forums to choose from. As for membership, Clubfrontier, Frontyspot, and Nissanfrontier.org, have a combined membership of over 32,000. That can be almost 13X the amount of info and experiences available!! Getting info here is hit or miss. There are alot of things that Pathy owners have tried. Most of us love to share our experiences and results. Unfortunately there are some things that those here havent tried yet.

I have referred many times to Frontier message boards to search for info that I couldnt get here. I didnt take offense that no one here had the answer I was looking for, I just realized that there is strength in numbers and more people have Frontiers than Pathfinders.

Also concider this. Putting 24's on your Pathy is not too common. I see that Tirerack lists 24's, but with a 285/30 tire.

the other thing with 24's is that you must make sure the offset is right. when you make a full lock u-turn you will rub.
