oil gauge

drove the wife's pathfinder tonight and noticed the oil gauge is stuck on high. when the car is off the gauge is all the way down. turn the key to on position and gauge is 3/4 up. any thoughts?

Probably just a bad oil pressure sender. Mine did the same thing last year.
