Vibration front left wheel

Postby Rett73 » Mon Nov 08, 2010 2:26 pm

I have noticed recently that i feel a slight vibration in the left front wheel....the feel is strong from 20 to 50 mph. I rotated the tires and still the same thing. It is more like a "wa wa wa wa wa" while driving....any suggestions on where to start here. 2008 2wd Pathfinder. 68000 miles

Is it a vibration or a cyclic scraping sound? If the latter, it may be a bad wheel bearing...? Same thing happened to me.

No scaping or sqreaching......it sounds like a uneven tire but I rotated tires and it is still there.

Maybe it's an alignment issue? When's the last time you got an alignment? Check out Tirerack's vehicle vibration diagnosis chart to help troubleshoot...

Good luck and keep us posted!

Cool, let us know how it goes. I was thinking it could be a u-joint issue, but a bad u-joint would usually cause vibrations at higher speeds. Anyway, it'll be interesting to learn if the alignment and/or tire balancing help...

Did you get an alignment and balance tire balancing yet?

It was a tire issue......front tires had a little cupping on them.....replaced tires, alignment done and all is good
