No start?

I have an 07 LE with 55k on it. Drove to my brother place 20 mins away. parked the truck for an hr or so. went out to go start it and it wouldnt start. Gauges went crazy bouncing around and when i tried to clank it over it made a clicking noise. Used a jump box and it started right up. drove around for an hr or two then parked it. went out to leave again after 30 mins sitting and it wouldnt start again. Wouldnt start trying to jump it. Ended up buying a new battery. its been a few days but it has been starting. Hope that was the problem..

I had problems like that before, definitely the battery in my case! your prob should be solved, hopefully!

When my battery bit the dust, I heard the same starter clicking before realizing that the battery was toast.

Got a new battery and voila..

My battery got very gradually weaker and weaker. I usually run a cooler in the back of the truck, and it got to the point where it couldn't keep the cooler going for longer than an hour or so.

If I didn't put a load on the battery when the truck wasn't running, it would start up everytime without fail.

Changed out to an Optima Red Top.

I'm guessing it was the battery too. Stock batteries last anywhere from 3-5 years on average depending on conditions. I changed mine out just before the 3 year mark just to be safe.
