newbi question on tires

Sorry if this is posted already but will 265/75/16 tires fit with out any lift with out rubbing

Thats the size I run on my 05. They rub a little on the mudflaps, but its really no big deal.

I get about 15-25% worse fuel economy though. Something to consider!

Actually, that isn't enitrely true. Yes, the revs per mile will be different, but the Pathfinder is calibrated to the largest possible tire size (obviously OEM), which is a 265/75/16. If one is running a smaller tire than that, then the mpg & speedo readings will be off, as in most people will be thinking there mpg is XX, when in reality it isn't.

Tire calculators are good, but only if one can assume that the tire they are currently running is being read accurately by the car's cpu.

thank very much. i ordered the tires today. after the holidays and the follinge finacial recovery I will be getting the quick lift with bilstien shocks,
