2005 PATHFINDER AIR FLOW SENSOR METER

3 mos ago the transmission and the radiator were replaced...a week ago I have replaced my air flow sensor because it was showing a Code P1283.
Today, same problem came back and it's saying the same thing. I regularly replace the air filter every maintenance cyle. Are there any good advise you can share wihout me taking it to the shop and be charged another $500+ with the same problem? Buying a 300+ part and labor cost again will drain my pocket.

did you install the air flow sensor yourself, or did a shop or dealership install it for you?

If you just replaced the air flow sensor it should be under warranty. Did you buy the part from Nissan or from an after market source? I've heard bad things about the after market air flow sensors.
