Electrical/Accesory Wiring for the O5 Pathy SE

I wanted to ask to see if anyone might know this question. As most car manufacturers go, They like to keep things simple. For example, in the Grand Prix's GM was lazy had all the electrical hook ups in their GT model cars to accept a Digital Information Console (DIC for short) Not all GT Models had a DIC installed, but the wiring was there. So over time many of the GP enthusiatists started buying junk yard DICs and such and installing them in the already supplied harness.

My question is..........Do the Pathfinders run along that same principle? For example, my Pathy only has the standard mirror, not the fancy one with the compass and tell you the temp and all that good stuff, but is the accessory wiring tucked under the headliner possibly?

Same would do with the wiring for the footwells, I see on the LE model Pathy's there is a light for the footwell.

Any information or insist would be deeply appreciated!
