Pathfinder Rear Wiper Blade & Install Video

Postby jeff618 » Sat Mar 26, 2011 8:55 am

None of the autoparts stores stock the pathfinder rear wiper in my area and I'm assuming others have the same problem. I found the wiper and a installation video:

R51 Rear Wiper Blade: https://www.wipers123.com/product_displ ... Pathfinder

R51 Rear Wiper (XX-B) Install Video: https://www.wipers123.com/wiper_blade_i ... videos.php

I was always told not to force mechanical things, but you have to apply a fair amount of force to snap it out. Its much easier once you see it done.

Hope this helps.

From my understanding you can only replace the rubber wiper part, which is purchased at your local dealer.

It can be had for $9.99 at your local auto parts store.

Trico/Wiper Blade
Part Number: 12-B
Application:
Rear

I bought mine and installed it. Very easy, works like every other replacement wiper...

You must be in a metropolitan area. None of the 8-10 autoparts stores within a 10 mile radius stock the wiper. They can all order it, but none stock it. At $3.59 per gallon in fuel and since time is money - yes ONLINE - is the most inexpensive and convenient way for me. I already went on a wild goose chase once that probably cost me $20 in gas...which led me to my computer. Now I order in Fall and Spring and it works well for me.

Nice. Who do you order from? It might just be easier overall.

Dont waste your money! I buy a generic refill. Remove old one, cut to same lenght, re-insert newly cut and it's good to go. Paid a couple dollars for the refill and I got 2 replacements out of it. :D

I had done this before for other vehicles, just have not had to replace the rear on my pathfinder yet. I'll probably end up doing this as like you said the least expensive way.
