I had the same. I did the same as blue to take off. It would've easy, but it was fused and had to break out the cutting wheel. That took time.

I did the driver side too.

Did you replace the bushing on the knuckle side of the arm? I'm thinking I might as well do this while I have the arm off since they are only ~$15. I'm wondering if the knuckle bushings are easy to install w/out a press.
