Rotor walkthrough?

Postby pandarturo88 » Tue May 24, 2011 6:55 pm

Hello, I'm asking this a little prematurely so I am able to make a final decision once I actually have to do this. For one thing are there any special tools I need to do a rotor swap? and if there is a walkthrough please point me in the right direction. Thank you.

nothing special. 22mm to take the torque member off, take off the rotor, clean the hub, wash new rotor, put in on. Might need a couple c-clamps or big slip joint pliers to push the caliper pistons back if you do the pads, but then thats it! Break 'em in properly...brakes wont be so great immediately, but should be fine after break in.

Coulda sworn the torque members are 21mm, just had mine off on Sunday...

Maybe its the US vs Canadian conversion... :)
