? concerning 05 Front brake pad change.

WIll there be any surprises on changing these out? I will have to have rotors turned as I am getting the front wheel shimmy on hard braking. Also I was thinking of going with OEM pads but if you guys have other recommendations please let me know.

Your on the right track. Turning your rotors may yield mixed results. If they are warped, turning them may only help for a while. I suggest replacing with a mid-grade aftermarket. I got mine from NAPA for $40 each.

Same on the pads, mid grade, nothing with lifetime warranty (those are really hard and bad for rotors.)
