Postby dawgn86 » Tue Sep 06, 2011 2:13 pm

I thought I saw a post on here about this..

2006 Path...I have the factory transmission cooler, but I want to add an electric fan onto it for greater cooling capacity...anyone know of a site that sells these...Only need the fan

Thanks

Jegs, summitracing, or other similar sites should carry them. Spal fans are arguably the best ones out there. You'll also need to get a relay, wiring harness, and temperature sending unit (http://www.spalusa.com/store/main.aspx? ... item=185FH) in addition to the fan.

Jeez...looks like I would come out better and cheaper to buy a new trans cooler with fan built in and all wiring included from B & M.

I'm not sure that the B&M setup (which uses a Spal fan) includes the relay and temperature sending unit... at least the one I purchased didn't.

I found one from E trailer.com.

Question..does the stock trans cooler have a port where you can screw in a temp gauge..where it turns the fan on and off at a certain temp?

No ports that I have seen. Pretty easy to do something inline though, thats what Budrbean did, if you search his name you should find the post.
