is it common to replace the rear suspension

I love the pathfinder but it seems that the rear suspension is a little loose. Is it common to replace the suspension so that it does not bottom out whenever I see a pebble on the road?

Most install the Airlift1000. I also added Bilsteins. Of course I've swapped out the factory suspension almost immediately on every truck I've bought in the last ten years so I may not be the best person to ask!
