Pathy is now my daily driver

Postby kelleyo » Mon Jan 30, 2012 10:57 am

I decided to sell my M5  My truck has 60K on it with an extended warranty. I am about to get tires and brakes. What other suspension items should I have checked/replaced?

Thanks...

I will miss my beast:

Have you installed the airlift 1000? I recieved mine in the mail last week and just waiting for a nice day to install mine. All the reviews say it's a must do for any kind of driving.

So I just got 4 new tires. The old ones were shot and I hydroplaned last week on the way to the airport. I got Michelin LTX M/S 2's all the way around. Alignement too. Brakes are good. Did the tranny cooler bypass while she was on the lift. Fluid is clear so I am happy capmer.

How much are those and is the install pretty straightforward?

Always a good feeling when you have a new set of tires and brakes.

Around $90. Very easy install. There are a bunch of links showing how to install. This is probably the best. Have a look.

I ordered my set on Amazon, they are sitting in the house until this weekend when I plan to install them.

I think you will be happy once they are installed. I would recommend the installation of seperate lines (one for each bag). This will allow you to control each bag and help with the stability in turns (no bleed over from one to the ohter bag when the vehicle shifts in turns).
