I've been in the market for one of these for quite some time but this guy "cardemand" seems to ONLY have an ebay presence. For me that is not good enough to buy from him.

His feedback is 100% but just looking at his pictures the quality isn't there for me. Granted, the pictures could be just "stock" pictures but there are no grommets where the wires penetrate the metal casing. Big No-No in my book because it will lead to chaffing and eventual shorting out in a vehicle. And when I pulled my lcd I do not remember a standard RGB db9 input available and that is all he is showing as his output. Again, maybe these are "stock" pictures but you never know.

More costly but at the same time more reputable and with legitimate support centers are Pac-Audio and Soundgate. These are companies that stand behind their products and use molex-style connectors as well as grommets and introduce themselves into the video feed line as opposed to utilizing a RGB out.

Hook one up and let us know how it goes.

You were probably stuck with the green only (non-color) version of the LCD. Make sure and verify that prior to purchasing something like this. Would hate to see someone waste cash on a product.

nah, the 08 SE V8 has the full color display. Looks to have the same plug too. I'll snap a pic of it...

The pics in the ebay ad are photoshopped. You can tell if you cycle between the two pics of the titan monitor.

It does look like the nav display an non-nav display are different part numbers, but it's hard to tell.

Thanks for the pic though. It looks the same.

I dont have that exact same one from ebay but i have the video converter that i baught here locally in Brooklyn(look the same i think). it was at least 50 bucks cheaper if i remember correctly.
It goes in between the navi and screen and acts like a bypass.
there is a switch to toggle between normal Navi operation and watching DVDs.
also has an input for backup camera. Once you put your shifter in Reverse it automatically changes the screen into backup camera mode.
works great! took an hour to install everything.
Here are some pics i was able to take during project.
I would recommend.

in the next pic you can see the bypass wires in place.
