Moving the battery

Postby Gray » Wed Apr 16, 2008 4:04 pm

Have any looked at moving the battery to a rearward position to take weight off the front end. Any thoughts as to where to position a rear placed battery.

I don't think moving the battery would make much difference with the weight. Are you trying to achieve better fuel economy?

I don't have a lot ways to quickly move 40 pounds front to back, it's not really an economy mod to my opinion but might free up some front end capacity to stick something else on without buying additional spring. 8)

Some of those Lotus crowd live and die on a pound moved front to back.
