2008 Compatibility

Have a 2008 Pathfinder LE and am looking for bull bars, etc. All the catalogs go to 2007 and nobody seems to say their product will fit.

Did they change the 2007 to 2008 that much or at all? Anybody with a 2008 have any luck?

As far as I've read the only body and frame change done to the 2008 PF was a redesign of the rear hatch door. Sites that only go to 07 haven't done a model fit confirmation and site update. There are some sites which only list models up to 06 for the same reason. I'd contact the bullbar manufacturer directly and offer to do an 08 fit test on their product for a discount.

I think the front end of the 08 is slightly different from the 07. When i compare my 08 to the older models in my area I notice my front end protrudes a lil more than the older one. The 07 seems a lil flatter in the front.

The '08 seems longer in front than the other years. I took no measurements, but I compared it to an identical '05 I parked next to. The front of the '05 is much flatter, as Danguy says. The '08 has a more rounded front and the bumper appears to stick further out from the hood than the older models.

If you compare the specs for the 2007 pathfinder vs the 2008 you will see that the overall length of the vehicle is 187" for 2007 and 192" for 2008. I think what they have done is extend the front bumper on the 2008 to fit those extra 2 cylinders for the V8. But of course all 2008 pathfinders are longer now even with the V6.
