my sour sweet pathfinder

Postby me&pathy » Thu May 15, 2008 10:40 pm

i love my truck the way it looks the way it dives its good but the reliability of the dam thing is horrible. I had a pathfinder le for a month and that went back to the dealer because the whole electronic system was screwed to hell and back and ended up as an insurance write off but now i am with my second pathfinder and the a/c is broken again for the third time and it squeals like a stuck pig i am running out of options i really like my truck but its starting to become more of a hassle than it is a joy.

Love ours too but we bought the 'S' model with minimal sh*t to go wrong. 8)

Wish we could have gotten factory leather seats with that though. :?

No issues here, 'cept the occasional clock reset.. otherwise, spot on. Sorry to hear of your troubles.

this is just my luck i took the pathfinder to get it washed today and they must have been messing with it but as it was going down the line to get washed i was watching it from inside the building as it went by and then my dad points out the moon roof is on tilt and sure enough it was. luckily not to much water got in thank god ... its just funny how crap like that always happens to me i and i found a dead guy on the side of road yesterday this week is just getting better.

Capt. Caveman..About the clock, it was actually recalled. If you have a sec bring it over to the dealer and they will re-program it. I went there for an oil change and they figured to check for any recalls and sure enough the clock was recalled.Check on it

Thanks, I had the oil changed about 3 weeks ago and I also had a problem with the speedo being off. They said that they reprogramed it as well as the lcd screen computer. but its still off and will have to go back.

Well finding a dead guy is definitely worse than a little water getting in your Pathy. Sorry you are having a bad week, or month the way it looks. If the dealer is good, they will do everything they can to help.

I will have to agree with Greybrick here. The less electronic stuff on a car, the less things can go wrong with it. :)
