so after having the pathy washed with the moon roof on tilt there is water damage on the sliding cover that covers the moon roof. Any one know if you can pull it off? im going to go find a replacement from a salvage lot or something to replace it.

You have any pictures? I would bet that it can't be removed without also removing the entire headliner, which would really be a pain. I looked at mine and couldn't see a way to take it off without removing the headliner, but what the hell do I know. If you do have to remove it, it would be a great time to run any of those accessory light or DVD cables for equipment that might someday be installed.

That sucks. Talk with someone at a local body shop or the dealership and they'll likely tell you how to replace the moon roof cover, they might not even charge much to do it if you supply the replacement part.

I think you could probably remove the roof liner, take the moon roof cover off and then steam clean it to get rid of the stain and reassemble. The bright side would be that when you take the roof liner off you could also install some roof insulation so your truck would stay cooler and the AC wouldn't work as hard during the summer. :)
