Call ID Not Working in 2013 Pathfinder

Postby sbond2076 » Fri Dec 21, 2012 11:00 am

I posted this under the Rocky Mountain Region area but think it's better posted under this area so here it is again.

I traded in a 2010 Murano for the 2013 Pathfinder Platinum Premium and it appears they have removed the caller id feature. I have at least 40 numbers in my vehicle phonebook, 3 that I actually recognize by the number, and I'm pretty frustrated that I don't know who is calling prior to answering the phone. Was this feature inadvertently left out and is Nissan going to issue a repair for this? In searching this via the internet it appears I'm not the only individual that is unhappy to learn that the "new and improved" voice recognition/bluetooth system Nissan is boasting about has less options than the Murano. Please advise.

Have you stopped by to talk to your local dealer? There are not very many members on the forum YET with the new 2013 Pathfinder. Keep coming back and something will eventually turn up.

Thanks for the reply. I did contact my dealer and they are looking into it for me. I'm hopeful they can shed some positive light on this for me.

Havent really looked yet, but I do not that my ringtones play through the radio so I know who's calling for the most part... Will test this soon for ya.

Might be another one for my GRIPES list back in the MISC R52 / 2013 category

Thanks for the reply. Nissan has a list of approved phones for the 2013 Pathfinder and I tried one on the list and one that wasn't on the list. Neither worked for the incoming calls but both were very easy to setup with the car's bluethooth and worked fine otherwise. My dealer has been great in trying to help with this but there is only so much they can do so my next step is to start calling the Nissan support desk.

Other than this issue the car is great. I love the way it handles.

My iPhone i4s definitely displays them by name on my screen. At least my favorites do...

My caller ID works fine on all numbers.

iPhone 5 w/latest iOS updates installed.
