Hello everyone I'm new I've had my 95 pathfinder XE about a year haven't had any problems until a few days ago running sluggish so thought it needed a tune up but before I could was on the freeway and it start bogging down I get off and my catalytic converter is cherry red so I have it towed next day put a brand new magna flow on cranks up fine start driving and it starts bogging again and converter is hot again so I put new plugs cap and rotor cranks fine idles fine for about 5 to 10 minutes then it gets really rough and kills im stomped can anyone tell me anything that might help please

Check your ignition timing and fuel pressure. If the ignition timing is off about 8 degrees from where it should be, it "may" have jumped a tooth on the timing belt. If fuel pressure is too high, check the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator.
