Installing Power Steps on a 1992 Pathfinder

Postby WillyJam » Thu Mar 03, 2011 7:38 am

Dear All,

I am negotiating with www.amp-research.com the possibility of installing one of their Electric Steps on a 1992 Pathfinder XE 4WD.

AMP RESEARCH do not make steps for our Pathfinders but are now willing to research and advise which of their existing kits would fit the Pathfinder the closest with little (to no) fabrications.

They asked me to:

Put the vehicle on a hoist and take pictures.

- One overall photo
- One photo with a tape measure stretched between the frame rail and the inner rocker panel sheet metal
- One photo with the tape measure stretched from the bottom of the floor board to the lowest part of the sheet metal rocker panel.

Unfortunately, I am currently traveling and do not have access to my car to take these photos. However, I appreciate if someone else on this forum can.

The pictures should be for WD21 Pathfinder (preferably 1992).

I believe this will be a breakthrough to any Pathfinder owner out there interseted in putting on these electric power steps (which are esp. useful on lifted vehicles).

Thanking you in advance.

William
