Trans seems stuck in 2nd or 3rd.

Trans seems stuck in 2nd or 3rd.

Trans seems to start out in second or third gear. No shifting and no power from take off. About 3000 rpm at 55mph. If you try to take off in first (manually) it feels like the trans is locking up (won't pull itself). Checked connector for the trans solenoids under hood ...appears o.k. Reverse is fine. Cleared ecm. Any guesses?
