Supercharge or not to supercharge

I have a 95 pathfinder. It has the VG30 E 5 speed manual, positraction rear end, all wheel disk breaks. The makings for a very fun suv, but I want a little more power. In other words, I have never driven and or owned a supercharged vehicle. I know that generally with Nissan's you generally want to go with a turbo. I already have a car with a turbo on it and am looking for a different kind of fun. I want to go with a roots type, but I don't know where to find what I need. I am also looking for other tips and tricks that will help. I done a lot of repair and rebuild, but this is one of my first project in souping something up. Any and all advice is welcome.
