Engine issues, intermittent stumbling

Postby ryanrf30 » Sun Feb 12, 2012 10:56 am

Ok I have a buddy who has a 3.0 v6 in a 92 pathy 205,000 on the odo. intermittent stumbling at rpm, hell even at idle. checked timing, air filter . replaced fuel filter and pump (3 times) cap, rotor, wires, plugs, cam angle sensor. (was really nasty, rusty). removed guts from cat, no CEL, no codes! other than a tragic fire anybody got any ideas? the owners really need this thing and I could use the driveway space for something other than a wheelchock for a haul truck.

try running some injector cleaner through it and maybe seafoam for cleaning out the carbon build up, or it could be your maf but that would throw a code (12)

Injectors, and stupid question, but did you make sure the fire order is correct?
