94 SE speaker amps

Postby Honeybadger » Mon Mar 05, 2012 12:47 pm

both of the amps in my truck are dying (intermittently losing left side audio, or both front speakers,) and I'd like to replace them (already done the deck, speakers and tweeters, looking to do a nice midbass setup with no subwoofer, just a clean, nice stereo)

But I can't figure out where they are? From what I've heard, the SE model has two amps, and I haven't a clue where they are.

My 93 Pathy's amp is located behind a panel-in the rear cargo area (passenger side).

If you have the 6 or 8 speaker setup, there are separate amps for the front and rear speakers located behind the rear side finisher on the right side of the cargo area. The front speaker amp is in the area behind the right tail lamp. Next, going forwards, is the rear speaker amp and then the A/T control unit.
