O2 sensor didn't work

Postby matt8urton » Tue Aug 21, 2012 1:24 am

So I changed the O2 sensor and my problem is worse. When I press the accelarator it stutters then kicks in strong, if at all. I'm not a mechanic but it also sounds like all the plugs aren't firing. Getting a full tune up, but if that doesn't help, anymore leads?

Also I tried to get the codes and have no idea how switch modes. Mine does not have the "screw" that locks in the mode, or if it does I can't find it?

Try this site for retrieving the codes:

www.troublecodes.net/Nissan

There's a mode screw on the ECM if it's a WD21; you may have to remove the passenger seat to find it. It could be under a sticker.
