Just bought a pathfinder was it a good deal?

Postby Castro » Tue Oct 02, 2012 8:28 pm

Hi there,

just purchased a 95 pathfinder with 400km.
It has aircare, seems to run well 4x4 works & has sat for a month.
body is good with no rust & it has a chipped windscreen & has a original chrome pack. Its auto and i paid $500 for it.

Is this reasonable or have i bought a car thats going to die soon? is 400km really bad or not?

Many Thanks
Cas

It's tough to go wrong with a $500 vehicle that runs. Worse case scenario, you can almost get your money back if you scapped it! There really is no way for anyone to tell you how long it will or can last nor what kind of problems you will incur, especially without inspecting the vehicle or knowing any kind of service history. WD21's have a long reputation for their reliability and durability. Hope you get a lot of years and miles out of your's!

Well thanks i mean it seems to run fine he said along as you top it up with water and oil and don't abuse it i will get many more miles out of it & my 4x4 works but there is a bolt loose so you have to push down to engage it but apparently its an easy fix and i have just went to pull the hood latch and its just broke so i guess il have to get under there tomorrow
