Postby dkdontforget » Thu Nov 07, 2013 6:43 pm

Im not sure what to do here, seems like number 5 isnt getting enough oil... it does that sound under load untill it warms up. if i turn it off after it warms up and start it after 5 min it does it again and its only #5 making the smoke

any thoughts

I usually hear that sound when a timing belt has been installed too tightly on a VG-series engine. I can also hear an exhaust manifold leak; the usual culprit is broken exhaust studs, especially on the right manifold more often than the left. Any chance that's where the smoke is coming from?
