No sound from sound system.

New to the forum. Specifically because I have searched long and hard and haven't come to find anyone with a similar problem. Or solution to it.

I have an 02 Nissan pathfinder with a Bose sound system and 6 disk CD player. Everything works great on the radio. All the buttons, all the functions, everything. Just absolutely no sound will come from the speakers, not even static or a background buzz.

Anybody familiar with this problem?

Nobody? No body has ever had any problem similar or even a possible suggestion?

If I still had access to ALLDATA, I could help you out, but I no longer do. There is a symptom chart for the radio and diagnostic procedures in the factory service manual that will help pinpoint the problem. You might try finding a downloadable service manual for your vehicle; a year or two off usually doesn't make much of a difference, as long as it's for an R50. In the symptom chart, there will be a listing for "no sound from speakers." Check the knowledge base at Nissanhelp.com or Nico forums' website.
