Shift lock not working and no power windows or sunroof!

Postby pveezee » Fri Dec 19, 2014 7:29 pm

The other day I went to shift into drive after starting my '04 and nothing, shift lock wasn't releasing. Then I noticed the power windows, sunroof and front interior lights weren't working either!

Any ideas? There are no fuses for any of these. Could the SECU be the culprit?

Sounds like a bad fusible link. Did you check them?

One fusible link handles all of that?

I can't tell you without looking at a wiring diagram if each one of those items are powered though the same fusible link. In my experience, if you have multiple and not specifically related electrical items that all stop working at the same time, it's often a blown fusible link. It's also the easiest thing to check.
