code 301

I get a code 301 every so often.the car runs rough for a short time then its runs fine again.can a coil run bad then good again? This coil has been changed before.Is there something else I should look at

Coils can fail intermittently; try swapping the coil with another and see if the code jumps to that cylinder.

on this year Nissan number one coil is different than the other five.The coil only does this every so often.This will be the third coil for this motor that I know of .I will try one from napa .the other after market carparts store sell a cheaper part but maybe not as good part.
